Tell us about your Molly Movie Night!

We haven't planned anything special - did you?

DD and I are going to watch the movie on Sunday night alone and then we are having a party on the following Friday night to celebrate the movie with her cousin and her best friend. I think this is going to work out better for us since she will have school the next day on the premiere night.

Anyway, we have lots of fun things planned for both nights.

For Decorations...

I bought a ton of cheap Fourth of July clearance items to decorate the TV room.

We'll use Molly's books to make a display.

We'll use the Theater Seats to set up a scene with the AG dolls.

We'll also use our Hallmark Molly Ornaments.

For the Invites...We are making movie tickets using pictures from AG catalogs.

For Food...

I bought red and blue parfait style ice cream cups at Walmart on clearance after the Fourth of July. We are going to have an ice cream sundae bar as a dessert during the movie.

We are going to pop popcorn and serve it in plastic popcorn containers that I bought at Target in the Dollar Spot.

We also bought lots of candy at Target on clearance after Halloween. I found packs on mini movie boxes that will be perfect--Dots, Junior Mints, Reeses Pieces, etc.

We also might use the Reynold's Star shaped mini pans to make cupcakes.

For Activities...

We will be doing several crafts including...

Decorating a headband with patriotic stickers, stars, sequins, etc.

Making a foam bookmark using foam stars and patriotic shapes.

We might do red, white and blue star-shaped Sculpey cookies.

I am going to check Cracker Barrel to see if I can find a CD with some Old Time Radio shows to listen to as we do the crafts.

For Favors...

I am planning to use some red, white and blue fabric that I bought one sale for $1 a yard at Walmart after the Fourth of July. We are going to make "Party Poppers" out of toilet paper tubes and the fabric. We'll fill them with some AG sized trinkets.

When AG had a BIG sale on the Short Story books I bought several copies of Molly and the Movie Star so I'll give them as favors.

We are really looking forward to the movie, Can't you tell?!!

I'm probably going to watch the Molly Movie with my Molly doll. I haven't planned anything though.

Wow, nothing that elababerate here MomtoJillian! My family is going down to my aunts to see my grandma on Thanksgiving. Mom and dad are going home that night, bro and me are staying the weekend to see the movie. Which really excites me because I oringally wasen't going to see it! (We don't have cable and my aunt does) I am so excited!

Edit: Oh,ya! Molly will be watching with me to! Maybe Nellie. Lissie and Kaya have to stay home.

Just going to watch the movie with Molly and mini Emily. Wish I could do something more special but I don't know anyone in real life who likes AG and my apartment is the size of a dorm room so I can't fit more than a few people in here.
